Kiosk Mode turns any tablet or mobile device into a self-service registration station, allowing candidates to check themselves in and submit their resume without needing a recruiter to operate the device.

Enabling Kiosk Mode

  1. Open the Rakuna Recruit mobile app and select your event.

  2. Select Kiosk Mode.

  3. Set the device at your booth or check-in table, candidates can now interact with it directly.

What candidates can do in the Kiosk Mode

In the Kiosk Mode, candidates can submit their details viaone of two ways:

  1. Manually enter information (name, email, phone).

  2. Scan or upload a resume.

What happens after each submission

Once a candidate submits his/her information, the Rakuna Recruit app automatically returns to a blank entry screen so that the device is ready for the next candidate - no action needed between submissions.

Exit the Kiosk Mode

Tap Exit icon at the top-right corner to leave the Kiosk Mode.

If your device has a lock screen set up, authenticate using Face ID, Touch ID, or your PIN to exit. On devices without a lock screen, the app will exit immediately.

Tip: The Kiosk Mode is best used at high-traffic events where recruiters cannot manually scan every resume. For 1-on-1 conversations, we recommend Snapshot or Manual Mode instead so you can capture notes about the interaction.
