Yes. Rakuna Recruit includes Offline Mode, allowing you to continue capturing candidates without an active internet connection. This is useful at large venues where Wi-Fi or cellular service may be unreliable.
How Offline Mode works
When the app detects that there is no internet connection, it automatically switches to Offline Mode. You do not need to enable it manually.
You will still be able to input and edit a candidate’s information as usual, but the data will only be saved locally on your device.
An on-screen indicator shows when the app is working offline, so you can check the current sync status.
Syncing your data
When the device reconnects to the internet, open the Rakuna Recruit app to allow the app to automatically sync all queued entries to your account.
Syncing may take several moments, depending on the number of entries captured offline and the speed of the connection.
You can check and verify the data syncing progress by heading to the "Event Interactions" screen from the menu sidebar.
If the syncing is complete, you will see “Sync Completed” notification at the top of the page as below.
(The prospect’s information has been synced and uploaded onto the Dashboard)
Best practices
As you will not be able to log in or out of the app while being offline. We advise setting up the correct user account in advance to avoid issues with connectivity.
If the sync indicator shows an active upload, do not force-close the app. Wait for the upload to finish to avoid data loss.
At a venue with poor connectivity, periodically check the connection - for example, by briefly stepping outside - so queued entries can sync throughout the day instead of all at once at the end.
